Band

Our Band is composed of students who are learning an instrument for the first time. Members will study and perform beginning band literature and be responsible for various assignments, concerts, and projects.

LEEO

During this 3-year project, students learn PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel. At the end of 8th grade, students will earn a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification, High School Credit, and Community College Credit. 

STEM

The STEM elective at Bair Middle allows students to explore project-based learning. Students will create a bridge, CO2 Race Car, Rockets, Fundamental Coding with Robots, and design & engineering principals will be taught through MindCraft.EDU.

Journalism

This class is dedicated to the craft of writing, editing, photographing, filming, and documenting life at Bair Middle. Students are involved with the production of the school yearbook a student-built news website.

Physical Education (PE)

Physical Education (PE) is about lifelong fitness and student development, at their own time and pace. Through participation in physical activities, students learn the importance of life-long physical activity.

Visual and Performing Arts

Basic design, drawing, painting, and sculpture techniques will be explored. A concentration on the principles and elements of design, incorporated with art history, will be integrated into various art projects throughout the school year.
