Boxtops to Win!
PTSA will host a Pizza Party for the class that collects the most Boxtops between October 1 and November 14. That's right FREE PIZZA! Pick your favorite class and give your teacher all the Boxtops you can between now and November 14. Pizza Party to be held on November 21, during 6th hour.
Get your pie here! Beginning October 13, PTSA will be selling Elizabeth Jean's No Bake Pies and Edda's Bundt Cakes. These delicious desserts will go perfectly with your Thanksgiving affair. Make sure to order your dessert today.

NJHS is sponsoring a Halloween Dance Thursday, October 30th from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The cost of the dance is $4 which can be paid online, beginning October 22nd, or in cash during all lunches. No checks will be accepted. Payments for the dance will be collected until October 29th. Click here for more details.
Read & Win!
We are excited to present our school-wide Reading Challenge. To participate, all your child has to do is read! Students will read from the Reading Plus on-line Reading program. Students who score 80 % or above on the accompanying questions, may log it on their Literacy Log. Students must read approximately 150 passages to earn the top place in the challenge. There will be weekly winners, and in December the top male and female readers will each be awarded a bicycle. To culminate this activity, Mr. McDermott, our principal, will be challenged to kiss an exotic animal! Please encourage your child to participate in our Reading challenge. Get ready to make money $$$ by cleaning out your closets and garage! PTSA is sponsoring a Rummage Sale Saturday, November 15th. All profits are yours to keep. Only $15 to reserve your selling spot today. Click here for additional details.
Join our school as we collect items for needy children for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be collecting from now until November 17th. Items we need to collect include: Canned goods: juice, gravy, soup, tuna, fruit, vegetables. Pancake mix and syrup, boxed pasta.
Cookies and Conversation ~ UPDATE
Once again Mr. McDermott would like to meet and greet with parents, community members and staff at his "Cookies and Conversation" event November 19th beginning at 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Stop in have a cookie and let's talk!
Speak Up Survey
Make your voice heard by taking the 2014 Speak Up Survey. Parents, teachers, students and staff are encouraged to take part in this online survey to have their voice heard. The survey will be open until December 19th.
