On October 15th from 6 to 8 p.m., Piper High will be hosting a Zone meeting showcasing all schools serving students in Sunrise, Plantation, Tamarac and Lauderhill. Read & Win!
We are excited to present our school-wide Reading Challenge. To participate, all your child has to do is read! Students will read from the Reading Plus on-line Reading program. Students who score 80 % or above on the accompanying questions, may log it on their Literacy Log. Students must read approximately 150 passages to earn the top place in the challenge. There will be weekly winners, and in December the top male and female readers will each be awarded a bicycle. To culminate this activity, Mr. McDermott, our principal, will be challenged to kiss an exotic animal! Please encourage your child to participate in our Reading challenge.
