FREE Breakfast for all students
Beginning March 16 our school’s cafeteria will be serving FREE breakfast to ALL students attending Bair Middle regardless of their current lunch eligibility. Arrive at the cafeteria at the regularly scheduled time 8:45 a.m. and your child will eat free.
Don't miss out, May 20 will be your last opportunity to purchase your 2015 yearbook for the low price of $30! Payments for your yearbook can be made in cash or by check (please make checks payable to Bair PTSA)
City of Sunrise
The City of Sunrise is partnering with the Jason Taylor Foundation to host a screening of the mini-documentary about Piper student Zoharian Williams and the Louder Than A Bomb regional poetry slam. The event will take place in the Civic Center Theatre on Tuesday, May 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Attention parents of incoming 6th grade students, it's time to get ready for 6th grade!
It is very important that you complete the registration process as soon as possible. You can complete this process by coming into Bair Middle School with 2 proofs of address, Monday through Friday, from 8:15-3:45.

In order to ensure that all checks received for payment of student meals have a adequate time to be processed by the bank to the end of the 2014 -2015 school year, checks will no longer be accepted as payment for meal services after April 30, 2015.
Effective May 1, 2015, Food and Nutrition Services cannot accept checks as payment for student meals for the remainder of this school year.

Also please note, when making student obligation payments they must be made in the form of cash, money order or paid online. No Checks will be accepted.

Florida's 2014-2015 ESE Parent Survey
We need your help to make Florida’s 2014-2015 ESE Parent Survey a record success
Parents! Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well your child’s school is partnering with you and promoting your involvement in your child’s education. All states must collect this data as part of State Performance Plan, as required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The survey will be available through May 31.

Students will be excited to learn about Achieve3000’s summer contest, 40-Activity Challenge! There are six grand prizes being awarded this summer, please view the flyer here. There is a link to this flyer in Spanish located at the bottom.
The contest starts the day after school ends and continues through the summer break.
